What do you look for in a diaper?

This is a question that we've discussed regularly around the design table over the years and the answers are as varied as the people we ask.

We want to hear from you what features you appreciate most with your cloth nappies and which ones, if any, you could really do without. Is there a feature you'd love on a diaper but haven't seen it commercially available yet?

To give you some ideas:
Do you prefer sized, 2-size or one size diapers and why?
Do you prefer a 2-step system (fitted with cover), or more of an AIO style?
Do you prefer snaps or Velcro type closures and why?
Do you prefer synthetic poly microfiber or do you prefer natural fabrics?
If you prefer natural fabrics, which ones do you prefer and why?
What is the most important factor in purchasing a diaper? Cost (per use), fit, style, colour, country of manufacture (including working conditions and pay of workers)?

While we have done everything possible to ensure that the shipping calculations are accurate in the cart, our policy is, and always has been, that only the actual shipping rates should be charged. Monkey Doodlez® Introduces NEW 2-size Fitted Diapers!

Do you love the functionality and cost savings of a fitted diaper & cover? We have the perfect compliment to your stash!

Monkey Doodlez® will be releasing our new fitted 2-size diaper in March 2010! This great design offers coverage over 2 size ranges without compromising fit!

Our Small (NB/S) size snaps down to accommodate newborns, with an extra snap down in the middle to accommodate baby's umbilicus. Our Medium (M/ML) size covers will take most babies through the rest of their diapering years. Our large size (L/L+) is just that; the fit starts at around 30lb on it smallest setting and is about the same fit as our large AIO and grows to accommodate 40 lbs or more!

These diapers are in use by diaper services so you know they're made to last!

We use a blend of 70% Bamboo Viscose, 28% Organic Cotton and 2% polyester so you can be assured of softness and absorbency. The diapers snap closed for a secure fit and the elastic is encased between the layers for baby's comfort.

At the top of the list is the announcement of our release of our new, patent pending, Tuck and Go™ Diapering System.

The Tuck and Go™ (TAG) offers the conveniences of an AIO and a pocket without all the hassles of stuffing, unstuffing and the ever unsavoury task of touching soiled fabrics. The TAG was ingeniously design to allow you to effortlessly tuck in a TAG pad, hold it securely in place, provide unsurpassed leak protection and if that wasn't enough, when changing the soiled diaper, simply turn the diaper over and the pad just falls out! The design of the cover keeps most messes only on the pad, so just tuck in a new pad and you're ready once again! What could be easier?

I am an experienced cloth Mom of 2, this system far surpasses any other diaper I have tried. If you are a cloth user, you know the true test of an effective diaper is how it measure's up overnight. I am very pleased to report that my 12 month old can start the day in the same onesie he wore to bed!!! We are talking 12+ hours. In the world of cloth, this is unheard of. I used to stuff massive inserts and hope that I didn't need to change a crib sheet in the middle of the night. Add Tuck and Go's to your diaper stash, I promise they will be your favourite diaper BY FAR. I'll go even further; eventually you'll discard all others (like I have) and be a full-time Tuck & Go Mama!

We were very fortunate this year to have been a sponsor for our local Soccer club.

We had an amazing season, and it was truly a privilege to watch all of the children having fun and witness the transformation from a bunch of 5 year olds playing with a ball into a real soccer team. Coach Chris and Ass't Coach Rebecca were fantastic with the kids making sure everyone had fun and had the opportunity to do their very best. Great job, guys!

It was an action packed season and the kids went into the play offs with only one loss on record. At the weekend play-off tournament, the kids came in ready to show their stuff, and they did just that! Team Monkey Doodlez® won the U6 Soccer Championships! As a "soccer mom" and team sponsor, I couldn't be more proud!

We are eagerly looking forward to the 2010 season!
